Title for buying an apartment
In Poland, the process of modernization and expansion of the railway network is underway, by adapting it to the requirements of the High Speed Rail (KDP) allowing travel at speeds of up to 250 km/h and eventually up to 350 km/h. However, even the best infrastructure alone is not enough. It must be used by suitably modern machines, allowing safe development of high speeds while preserving the comfort of passengers.
To assist carriers in the process Modernization of rolling stock matched to the capabilities of KDP, the CPK rolling stock company will purchase more than 100 combined electric warehouses. After that, CPK will lease a modern fleet to carriers operating in our country, serving High Speed Rail lines and connections to the Central Communication Port.
We learned about the requirements put before CPK
According to the adopted resolution on the concept of provision of passenger rolling stock, the combined electric warehouses purchased by CPK must meet a number of requirements. These have been designed in such a way that the acquired trains can use KDP lines, but at the same time they are energy efficient and also meet the requirements of passengers with special needs, such as people with disabilities.
- speed up to 250 km/h,
- power supply 3 kV DC and 25 kV AC,
- meeting the requirements of people with special needs,
- energy efficiency, energy recovery systems,
- compatibility of security systems,
- the ETCS traffic control and control system according to the latest interoperability requirements,
- Passenger information system including airport information
- amenities for passengers: multifunctional zones, individual lighting and USB chargers
In Poland, there is a broad consensus that investment in railways is not so much needed, but even necessary. High-speed railways will significantly reduce travel time, while increasing their comfort. The very plan of the new passenger information systems is so interesting that I would like to see it already on the Polish railway. However, it is important that this great transformation takes place with the greatest possible participation of Polish business, which is a priority for CPK
